Portable in-plant offices designed to meet customer needs

Excess Space Solutions (ESS) manufactures premium quality portable in-plant offices, offering an efficient work environment for production and management personnel in any industry. ESS designed a split type portable office for one of its customers, which allowed for economical shipping and ease of manoeuvring within the manufacturing plant. The 18-foot by 18-foot prefabricated in-plant office was constructed utilizing ESS 100+ modular wall panels and a heavy-duty steel-framed floor assembly.

For another customer, ESS supplied a 14-foot by 20-foot production office constructed using ESS100+ non-combustible modular wall assembly. The in-plant office is fully insulated for sound and temperature control.

There are countless design options available. One client’s 12-foot by eight-foot prefabricated portable in-plant office features fork pockets for easy relocation with a forklift. Another client requested a 20-foot by 28-foot two-storey maintenance facility utilizing the ESS100+ modular wall system and an ESS mezzanine structure. The project included the complete supply and installation of the wall system, suspended ceiling system and all electrical components. An eight-foot by eight-foot steel roll door was also installed for oversized equipment access.
