Transporting high volumes of material

A powerful in-line conveyor that can move high volumes of material through ordinary pipe, the Heavy Duty Threaded Line Vac offers a high level of throughput. It has a hardened alloy construction that helps to prevent premature wear when conveying shot blast, tumbling media, metal fittings, and other heavy material; this makes it ideal for rugged industrial applications. Another key advantage is the large throat diameter, which enabled conveyance of more material over longer horizontal or vertical lengths. It offers a conveying rate of about double that of ordinary air-powered conveyors.

This pneumatic conveyor ejects a small amount of compressed air through a directed nozzle, in order to create a vacuum on one end and high output flows on the other – with instant response. The user can easily control the conveying rate by using a pressure regulator on the compressed-air supply, and the air speed can be controlled by regulating the inlet air pressure.

Seven sizes of this pneumatic conveyor are available from EXAIR, ranging from ¾ to three NPT, to fit the most common pipe sizes. The standard-duty models are constructed from aluminum or 303/316 stainless steel and are available in 11 sizes, either with or without threads. This entire series is compliant with international safety standards, including those of CE in Europe and the Occupation Safety and Health Administration in the United States. These units are ready to ship from stock.
