The lineup

Norpak’s selection includes two models from Hytrol, one of the most trusted brands of conveyors across the globe. Model ALT1000 is a plastic chain belt conveyor designed to carry lightweight products. It features an anodized aluminum beam frame, white acetal finger chain and optional floor supports. The components can be combined in many different ways, allowing the system to grow as the customer’s production increases. This model is available in four belt widths, constant belt speeds up to 17.68 metres per minute (58 feet per minute), and a capacity of 50 pounds per foot.

Norpak also carries Hytrol’s Model PSB with modular plastic belting. This unit uses a positive drive system to eliminate belt slippage and mistracking. The conveyor bed features aluminum slider bars mounted to frame spacers, and a formed steel channel frame bolted together with butt couplings. It is available in 16 belt widths ranging in size from eight to 38 inches, and with a ½-horsepower motor as standard. Model PSB can carry a distributed live load up to 300 pounds, and has a portable base support adjustable from four to 30 inches.
