Pile protection systems offer long-term defence in splash zones

Denso North America carries a full range of steel, concrete and timber pile rehabilitation and corrosion protection systems. From petrolatum tapes to fibreglass or HDPE jackets and more, Denso's SeaShield Systems offer long-term protection from splash zone corrosion and pile deterioration.

HDPE Jacketed Systems

Denso's SeaShield Series 2000HD system utilizes Denso petrolatum tape. Designed to protect steel and concrete piles from corrosion, the system also features a durable HDPE outer-cover, secured with marine-grade alloy bolts, to accommodate piles with cylindrical and H-Pile configurations, as well as support members, bracing, brackets and other irregular surfaces.

The lineup also includes Series 100, which can also be used on steel or timber piles. Series 90 is also available. It is meant for use specifically on timber piles to protect against marine borers, and can accommodate hour-glassed piles, posting, bracing and other timber support members.

FRP Jackets

Denso's offering also includes Fiber-Form custom fabricated fibreglass jackets, which are specifically designed to protect and rehabilitate steel, concrete and timber piles. The Series 500, comprised of the SeaShield Fiber-Form Jacket and SeaShield 550 Epoxy Grout, can be applied above or below water to restore steel, concrete and timber piles.
