Certifications from Intertek, SGS

Two organizations have certified MOCAP as per the ISO 9001:2015 standard – Intertek and SGS. Intertek has assessed the quality-management system of MOCAP’s manufacturing facilities in the United States and determined that the company meets ISO’s high standards for producing plastic caps and plugs; SGS has done the same for the company’s Chinese location.

The ISO 9001:2015 standard, part of the ISO 9000 series on quality management, is based on many universal quality principles and values. The Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive, also known as RoHS, is yet another high industry standard with which MOCAP complies. This stringent European standard came into effect more than 15 years ago and deals with material safety. With a few exceptions, RoHS restricts the use of six hazardous materials in the manufacture of many products, especially electrical and electronic equipment.
