One of the newest products available is the Parker On-Board Electronics Solution, or OBE Solution, a plug-and-play spool control device for load-sensing systems. This is an innovative, simpler way to design mobile machines that comply with current and evolving safety legislation.

Parker recommends the OBE Solution for spool control in various applications and industries, such as forest harvesting, mining, agriculture, oil and gas, military, marine, and construction.

Easy to replace components

This modular device offers simplified safety compliance with easier setup. Based on client demands, factory-calibrated OBE units are available for Parker L90LS and K220LS valves, which results in optimum plug-and-play performance and decreases the need for testing on production lines significantly; this simultaneously raises production capacity and cuts costs. CAN-bus-based OBE units are compatible with Parker IQAN software control systems and other CAN-bus systems.

The OBE Solution includes a spool position sensor, as well as automatic parameter backup and self-addressing that simplify replacement of components at any stage. This makes maintenance easier for both machine builders and users. Other major features and benefits include the following:
