The AC30 drive family by Parker

Wainbee Limited is the largest distributor in Canada for Parker industrial solutions, with a lineup that includes the AC30 series of variable-speed drives. Parker manufactures three distinct models in this series – the AC30V, the AC30P, and the AC30D – to deliver three performance levels for users that have different needs.

From simple open-loop pumps and fans to closed-loop process-line applications, these devices by Parker are built to give users unsurpassed levels of control.

With simplicity and functionality

The AC30 series has flexibility and highly modular construction that allows users to add various communications and I/O modules easily as needed. Each unit is designed with simplicity and functionality as high priorities, and it has features that simplify pump and fan control, mastering performance and ease of use. More capable users can create sophisticated control that once required a separate PLC. The AC30 integrated macros allow for a variety of applications and PLC functionality.

In addition to quick setup, dedicated pump, and fan micros, this line from Wainbee has other features designed for energy-saving pump and fan control, simplicity, or flexibility:

  • automatic belt-breakage detection
  • coating for harsh-environment protection
  • energy optimization
  • essential services (fire mode)
  • fly catching, or catching a spinning load
  • intelligent pump profiles
  • multilingual graphical keypad
  • open-loop or optional closed-loop operation with pulse encoder or resolver feedback module
  • Parker DSE Lite or Drive Quicktool drive management software tool
  • PID control
  • process timers
  • quick start wizards
  • skip frequencies
  • standard chassis or through-panel mount
  • standard Ethernet TCP/IP
  • support for popular industrial fieldbuses
  • terminal covers, removable with drive in place
  • timed run function

These variable-speed drives are designed for operation in environment classes 3C3 and 3C4 for hydrogen sulphide as standard (tested at 25 parts per million for 1,200 hours) and in temperatures as high as 50 degrees Celsius with option integrated EMC filter to C2 1st environment and DC link choke to lower line harmonics. In addition, the AC30 series is fully compliant with RoHS substance restrictions, according to EC Directive 2011/65/EU.
