Systems and applications

Matcon IBC systems are ideal for handling and processing powders, granules, tablets and capsules. They are designed to enable improved productivity and quality in customer production systems.

For powder handling applications, for example, IBCs are available in capacities from 50 to 3,500 litres. For tablet handling, on the other hand, a single tablet IBC is a suitable option. It has automatic filling capabilities, while gently handling tablets and capsules.

What sets Matcon’s IBCs apart from the rest is its innovative cone valve technology, which is at the heart of every Matcon IBC system. This unit feeds blended powders and granules directly to roller compactors and tablet compression without the risk of segregation. Cone Valve IBCs have the unique ability to be able to handle the solvent rich solids between the centrifuge and drying processes.

Matcon IBC systems are ideal for producing multiple recipes, increasing productivity, improving product quality and process efficiency, and batch traceability.
