The Omron AnyFeeder is designed to work with various robots and in combination with Omron Vision software and controllers. Flexible in feeding small parts of various sizes, shapes, and materials, these robotic feeding solutions enable quick line changeover and lower tooling costs, for a major competitive advantage.

Among its benefits, the AnyFeeder feeds a multitude of products of various materials – plastic, rubber, metal, glass, and more – and eliminates multiple feeder systems on a line. No fixturing is necessary, and integrated vision refinement on the fly enables vision verification of components, which boosts placement accuracy to within 17 microns. Productivity is further increased with dual configuration. The AnyFeeder automatically flips and shakes parts to separate and position them for faster pickup.

Four models of AnyFeeder part feeders are available from Advanced Motion & Controls:

• SXM-100. Field of vision – 100 by 134 millimetres (mm); maximum weight in field of vision – 500 grams (g).
• SXM-140. Field of vision – 140 by 193 mm; maximum weight in field of vision – 500 g.
• SX-240. Field of vision – 240 by 320 mm; maximum weight in field of vision – 1½ kilograms (kg).
• SX-340. Field of vision – 340 by 453 mm; maximum weight in field of vision – 1½ kg.
