Another unique example: Ohio Broach once constructed a specially designed Ohio H218X horizontal broach machine for a European manufacturer that created thrust bearings for engine crankshafts, supplying them to many automotive businesses. This machine was hydraulically driven and had a dual parallel hydraulic system, so that one side could run independently of the other.

Other special projects that Ohio Broach has undertaken include a ready-to-assemble broached wrench jaw for a manufacturing plant, as well as shaping and sharpening numerous broaching tools. No matter how unique the application, Ohio Broach can create a solution.
