• Broach-machine rebuilding. The Ohio Broach team has the design and building experience to take any out-of-service broaching machine and rebuild it into a new, productive piece of equipment. Not only can the staff fabricate and replace any required new parts; they also clean and grind worn parts to make them as good as new.
• Broach-tool sharpening. Broaching tools need to be sharpened properly to achieve fine cutting, so Ohio Broach offers precision sharpening, repair, and reconditioning of tools. Brazing, sharpening, straightening, and/or recoating can be part of the process, depending on client requirements.
• Production broaching. Ohio Broach staff provide in-house production contract broaching for customers who lack the need or the room for their own broaching machines. Services include internal broaching, broaching of irregular shapes, blind spline broaching, and surface broaching, with the company’s own machines.
• Design and engineering of broaching machines and tools. Ohio Broach’s team does not limit its machine-designing talents to its own equipment; it also offers to design and build machines for clients’ specific applications. Each custom-designed machine comes with a comprehensive operation and maintenance manual too.

In addition, Ohio Broach helps customers with welding and repair services for broaching tools, coatings, assembly and disassembly of broach holder bars, troubleshooting for machines and tools, and consultation. The company even has emergency sharpening services, available 24 hours a day.
