quality standards

Two of the associations to which Ohio Broach belongs.

Manufacturers insist on the best when it comes to broaching. High quality is a must. This is why The Ohio Broach & Machine Company expects so much of itself. Evidence of the company’s dedication to high quality standards is its industry memberships and certifications. Ohio Broach backs up its reputation as a member in good standing of three major manufacturing associations and as an ISO 9001-2015-certified entity.

Ranked among top peers

Ohio Broach maintains its ranking among top peers in the broaching and engineering fields through memberships with the Association for Manufacturing Technology (AMT), the Society for Manufacturing Engineers (SME), and the American Society for Mechanical Engineers (ASME).

The AMT has promoted high quality standards in manufacturing technology in the United States since 1902. Its member companies design, build, sell, and serve with this technology as it evolves. Ohio Broach is one of the many organizations that the association helps to improve and expand their business with networking events, education, consultation, and analysis of industry trends. With the AMT’s assistance, Ohio Broach has expanded to international markets; its machines, tools, and other broaching products are used in Mexico, Europe, and Asia as well as here in Canada.

For more than 85 years, the SME has supported the American manufacturing industry with knowledge and resources for solving all kinds of issues. The organization concentrates on promoting advanced manufacturing technology and information, showcasing career opportunities for young workers, and properly training the workforce with the skills they need.

The ASME is a nonprofit association that promotes multidisciplinary engineering and allied sciences worldwide. For close to 140 years, this body has helped the international engineering community devise solutions that benefit people everywhere, using collaboration, knowledge sharing, and skill development. Ohio Broach and other ASME members have unlimited access to valuable resources, connections to top engineering professionals, and exclusive opportunities to influence the industry.
