ODE’s 2/2-way stainless steel solenoid valves now two inches NPT

ODE's range of valves is always expanding.

The company never stops developing new solutions for various applications. Most recently, ODE expanded its line of 2/2-way stainless steel solenoid valves with a bigger size.

These 2/2-way, direct-acting solenoid valves are now available in sizes up to two inches NPT, with NBR, Viton, EPDM, and PTFE seals and pressure ratings of up to 203 pounds per square inch.

A wide variety of applications

These new stainless steel solenoid valves are the perfect pick for a wide variety of applications. ODE recommends them for use in the food-processing, chemical, petrochemical, oil and gas, mining, pharmaceutical, steam and heating systems, and municipal water and wastewater industries.

Two key product groups that boast these improvements are ODE’s 21LN and 21IN series. The 21LN series consists of general-purpose solenoid valves that are ideal for use in many applications, such as coffee machines, syrups, car washes, air applications, filling machines, industrial automation, packaging, steam, vending, water, and water treatment. Features include a 316 stainless steel body, a Viton diaphragm, and a protection class of IP65.

The 21IN series is recommended for chemical, petrochemical, thermoregulation, and industrial automation tasks. Minimal operational pressure is not required, and the materials used and tests conducted ensure maximum reliability and duration. Like the 21LN series, these 316 stainless steel solenoid valves comply with the strict requirements of the European CE safety standard.

The two-inch NPT size is the largest yet for these solenoid valves. And with larger pipe sizes come certain user advantages. Increased size also means a higher flow rate and higher power. It raises the range of materials that can be processed through the valves and the liquid’s thickness and solids content. By expanding its valve range, ODE expands the spectrum of industrial solutions it can provide.
