ODE Valve’s “Y” filters are ideal for a wide range of industrial applications

Three types of "Y" filters are available from ODE.

These unique filters are versatile enough to be used for industrial applications in many industries, like air, food processing, chemicals, petrochemicals, oil and gas, automation, plastics, and rubber manufacturing.

Easily maintainable filter element

ODE produces and distributes three models of “Y” filters – BSP, BSPT, and NPT threaded connections. Each design has an easily maintainable filter element and is constructed to handle liquids, gases, and vapours (both neutral and aggressive). Nominal sizes of these compact filters run from DN8 to DN80.

Other common features of these filters from ODE:

• Fluid temperature: minus ten to 220 degrees Celsius.
• Ambient temperature: minus ten to 80 degrees Celsius.
• Nominal pressure: PN 55.
• Body material: AISI 316 stainless steel.
• Filter-element material: AISI 304 stainless steel.
• Perforated mesh: standard.
• Mesh size: 20 to 100 microns; other dimensions available upon request.
• Gasket: PTFE.

Each model of these compact filters comes in nine separate sizes, running from ¼ to three inches NPT. In terms of dimensions, they go from 14 by 37 by 55 millimetres (mm) to 80 by 118 by 210 mm. Both the BSP and BSPT designs have pipes ranging from G ¼ to G 3, with port connections of ¼ inches over three inches, while the NPT models have pipes and port connections both running from ¼ to three NPT. Weight goes from 270 grams to 6.8 kilograms.
