ODE Valve Canada has launched a new line of aseptic valves

ODE carries four models of aseptic valves.

For 60 years, ODE has specialized in the world’s most innovative valves – available in this country through ODE Valve Canada. The latest group of products to join the ODE family is a line of aseptic valves. Four models are available: two with tri-clamp connections, two with welded ends.

All of these valves live up to ODE’s high quality standards and go beyond customer expectations for every task.

Perfect for critical applications

The 21DZ1 series of aseptic valves are pneumatically operated, 2/2, normally closed units, each with a tri-clamp connection and a single-acting pneumatic actuator. These valves are perfect for critical applications in the chemical, pharmaceutical, and food-processing industries. Each has a corrosion-resistant AISI 316L boy with surface finishing, actuator housing and internals in AISI 304 for long life, specific body design to ensure total separation between medium and actuation, a symmetrical body design for bidirectional use, self-draining capability, and an optical position indicator. ATEX versions are available upon request.

ODE’s 21DZ2 has many features in common with the 21DZ1 series, including the tri-clamp connection. Both series work best for liquids, gases, and steam, whether neutral or aggressive. Both have operating fluid-temperature ranges from minus ten to 150 degrees Celsius and ambient-temperature ranges from minus ten to 80 degrees Celsius; both have Class A diaphragm leakage and 16 bar of maximum allowable pressure. The main differences are the nylon hand wheel on the 21DZ2 and the actuator on the 21DZ1.

Two series of aseptic valves with welding connections are available – the 21DZ1 and 21DZ2. The former has a single-acting, normally closed pneumatic actuator. Both valves are also recommended for chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and food processing. Both versions have corrosion-resistant AISI 316L bodies, specific body designs for complete separation between medium and actuation, symmetrical design that enables bidirectional use, self-draining abilities, and ATEX variations available.

These welding-connection valves have the same temperature ranges, maximum allowable pressure, and diaphragm leakage class as their tri-clamp equivalents have. Again, the 21DZ2 has a nylon hand wheel, while the 21DZ1 has an actuator. Trust ODE to recommend the best option.
