industrial solenoid valves

PIC carries solenoid valves from ODE.

Process Instruments and Components Inc. (PIC) has served a diverse group of industries with solutions for work in hazardous locations for 30 years. Among the manufacturers with which the supplier partners is ODE, which is headquartered in Italy and has been highly reputed for its high-quality industrial solenoid valves since 1960.

These reliable and innovative electric and air-operated solenoid valves continue to meet the needs of businesses in various sectors across Canada.

Standard and specialty valves

ODE is a member of the Defond Group of Companies, in the Fluid Technology Division. This Hong Kong-based group serves the global automotive industry and other markets with many leading corporations, from Ferrari and Volkswagen to Porsche and BMW. As one of the worldwide stocking distributors in the Defond channel, PIC offers first-rate delivery in many locations.

The manufacturer’s industrial solenoid valves come in brass, stainless steel, or technopolymer, with varying AC and DC voltages and extensive pressure and temperature ranges that are compatible with a wide range of applications. ODE valves are CRN- and CSA Group-approved and suit tasks ranging from minor modifications of core products to complete redesigns.

A versatile lineup, ODE industrial solenoid valves are suitable for such sectors as chemicals, petrochemicals, oil and gas, food processing, municipal water and wastewater treatment, heating, cooling and refrigeration, pharmaceuticals, power generation, rubber, plastics, mining, pulp and paper, and the automotive industry. The manufacturer also produces specialty solenoid valves for car-wash systems and for vending or coffee machines – all with optional NSF certification.

This solenoid-valve portfolio is priced competitively and comes with a broad spectrum of AC and DC voltages, while consuming a low level of power (eight watts for the majority of AC and DC coils) and functioning in temperatures from -40 to 180 degrees Celsius, based on the sealing material. All of ODE’s stainless steel valves are AISI 316 versus AISI 304 for competition, and coils can be replaced without the need to remove the valve bodies. Users can also mix and match AC and DC coils, depending on the pressure range for the individual task.
