Accessories can enhance Norpak conveyors.

For 35 years, businesses have depended on Norpak Handling Ltd. for a broad selection of material-handling solutions. The supplier also offers a wide range of conveyor accessories, all of which play some role in optimizing the material-handling process in facilities and warehouses. By picking the appropriate accessories, clients can customize their conveyor systems to provide specific functions and ensure that their business operations are as productive and efficient as possible.

Boost productivity and function

When customers use them correctly, these accessories increase productivity, add specific functions, and help curb common issues like line jams. The Norpak team can recommend conveyor accessories for customized solutions that can accommodate unique operation requests or measurements. The following conveyor accessories are available:

  • ARB mergers – units that help to curb slowdowns and line jams while boosting the circulation of conveyor lines. Mergers are perfect for accumulation conveyors and can smoothly merge multiple lines into one, without any product damage or further jams.
  • ARB switches – also known as Activated Roller Belt switches, which can divert items from one or multiple in-feed lines to multiple out-feed lines. ARB switches can handle up to 50 products per minute, of varying sizes and weights.
  • Diverters – automatic accessories that move items from one line to an adjacent line, with gentle operation to prevent product damage. Can be used in accumulating conveyors.
  • O-ring transfers – can transport items onto parallel and adjacent lines. O-ring transfers can grip onto the item and use linear bearings to raise and lower it. Norpak offers models that can handle loads of up to 75 pounds in weight.
  • Pushers – ideal for any conveyors that use sortation. Pushers can help to transport items to reject or inspection stations while still on the line, so that there is no interruption to the conveyor flow.
  • Y-switches – used to divert items from one line to another, usually at curves measuring 45 or 90 degrees. Y-switches can be either pneumatic or manually operated, and users can also install guard rails to add security and stability.
