Many accessories are available from Norpak.

A wide range of material-handling solutions are available from Norpak Handling Ltd., and users can customize these products to offer specific functions with the help of accessories. By choosing the right conveyor accessories, customers can make sure that their business operations are as productive and efficient as they can be.

Norpak offers a broad selection of conveyor accessories, all of which play some part in optimizing the material-handling process in any plant or warehouse.

From Y-switches to diverters

When they are used correctly, conveyor accessories boost productivity, add specific functions, and help to curb line jams and other common issues. Customers need only to contact the Norpak team for recommendations on custom solutions that can accommodate specific operation requests or measurements. Among the accessories that are available:

  • ARB mergers. These units help to curb slowdowns and line jams while improving the circulation of conveyor lines. Mergers are ideal for accumulation conveyors and can smoothly merge multiple lines into one line with no product damage or further jams.
  • ARB switches. Activated Roller Belt (ARB) switches can divert products from one or multiple in-feed lines to multiple out-feed lines; they can handle up to 50 products per minute, of different weights and sizes.
  • Diverters. Automatic diverters move items from one line to an adjacent line, with gentle operation that prevents product damage. Customers can use these accessories in accumulating conveyors.
  • O-ring transfers. These accessories can transport items onto parallel and adjacent lines. They can grip onto each item and then use linear bearings to raise and lower it. Norpak offers O-ring transfers that can handle a maximum unit load of 75 pounds.
  • Pushers. Perfect for any conveyors that use sorting. Pushers can help to transfer items to reject or inspection stations while still on the line, so that the conveyor flow is never interrupted.
  • Y-switches. These units are used to divert items from one line to another, typically at 45- or 90-degree curves, and can be either pneumatic or manually operated. Customers can also use guard rails for additional stability and security.
