The Ultra-Matic U2 two-inch series of non-metallic bolted pumps is designed to offer efficient and reliable pumping in virtually any application, ranging from food processing to any task that requires pumping of solids. Also available in a clamped configuration, these pumps have wear-reducing components and chemical-resistant material that help to lower the total cost of ownership.
Among the many advantages of the U2 series: it ensures air-valve efficiency while eliminating blow-by; it features self-lubricating components; it offers smooth, linear air flow, as well as higher flow rates; and it enables easy maintenance with no need for special training or tools.
Each of these pumps from York Fluid Controls has a flow rate that is adjustable up to 727 litres per minute. It also has a port size of two inches ANSI/DIN #50 flange for both suction and discharge, with an air inlet of ½ an inch NPT and an air exhaust of ¾ of an inch NPT. The dry suction lift equals 6.1 metres for rubber and 3.05 metres for PTFE; the pump can handle a maximum solid size of six millimetres in diameter; and it has a shipping weight of 30 kilograms in polypropylene or 42 kilograms in PVDF.
