Nitto Kohki’s hydraulic, electric punches are available from Dobco

Another essential type of manufacturing equipment available from Nitto Kohki is punches, which many industrial work environments require to create holes in metal.

The different types

The two primary designs of Nitto Kohki punches that Dobco carries are:

• HA Series: These punches include fully automatic punch, return and reset operations, with an allowable maximum pressure of 10,000 pounds per square inch (psi) and emergency switches that can immediately stop the operation at any time. Each comes with hose cord assembly, spanner, sub handle assembly, tool box, 22-mm punch & die mounted on machine, and four-mm Allen wrench; optional accessories include spring balancers, foot switch assembly, and split lock nuts.
• HS Series: Each HS punch has a double acting hydraulic system that allows both automatic and manual operations. Longer punching and returning times than the HA has, with an allowable maximum pressure of 10,000 psi. Same optional accessories as the HA; comes with hose cord and hose kit assembly, spanner, sub handle assembly, chip guard assembly, tool box, 22 mm punch & die mounted on machine, and four- or five-mm Allen wrenches.

Punch & dies for HA and HS have size diameters ranging from eight to 25 mm.

Nitto Kohki also produces an electric punch, the E55-0619, a self-contained hydraulic punch that can make round or elongated holes in flat bars, angle bars or channel iron. The E55-0619 has a maximum punching diameter of 13/16 of an inch, a maximum punching thickness of ¼ of an inch, and a maximum output of 17 tons.

Punches & dies for the E55-0619 are available in custom shapes and sizes. Each comes with a 10×12 spanner and a three-, four- or five-mm Allen wrench. Foot switch assembly is an optional accessory.
