The new Xcite Light Airmix manual spray gun by SAMES KREMLIN

A top global source of industrial finishing solutions, SAMES KREMLIN is renowned for its mastery of the manual spray gun – particularly with Airmix, an intermediate spraying technology that the company introduced in 1975. Since then, SAMES KREMLIN’s experts have worked on developing new, innovative products with the Airmix advantage.

The latest breakthrough in this area is the Xcite Light Airmix manual spray gun, a new variation on the standard Xcite gun. This tool is perfect for production facilities that require high repeatable finish quality and transfer efficiency.

A simple, reliable spray gun

Like the Xcite, this Light Airmix manual spray gun is a simple and reliable tool that delivers proven high quality and dependability. Available in two models – allowing a choice of pressure between 870 or 1,740 pounds per square inch – the Xcite Light is designed specifically to enable access to very recessed part areas, with its optional whip paint hose. This 1.6-metre hose makes the gun more manoeuvrable and compact, which also facilitates spraying into parts with complex shapes.

Another major benefit of the Xcite Light is its high transfer efficiency. Excessive overspray and material waste are eliminated due to the quality of the atomization and the low speed of the fine paint particles, creating minimal bounce-back effect; add large tip selections for liquid flow and optimized width application, and the user gets a transfer efficiency of up to 86 per cent.

The gun handle has no metallic fluid tube or filter, which increases the tool’s manageability and makes it easier to paint complex-shaped items with areas that are hard to reach. SAMES KREMLIN recommends adding an optional inline filter to this manual spray gun if the paint pump filter is insufficient or if the paint quality calls for it.

Airmix technology blends the finish quality of Airspray and the productivity of Airless. Finishing facilities have trusted this technology for more than 40 years, and it has become today’s industrial standard for medium-pressure atomization. SAMES KREMLIN continues to use its expertise and experience in this field to develop this technology for more applications.
