A new tensioning roller — the Tensioning Roller Light Type RL — is available from Rosta. Designed for light-duty drives, the new generation tensioning roller features precise dimensional tolerance for smooth operation.

Roller details

There are many features that make the Tensioning Roller Light Type RL a solid choice for light-duty applications. Made of industrial plastic material, the roller itself is light, with three models ranging in weight from .08 to .50 kg.

The rollers are designed for applications that reach maximum speeds between 4,500 and 6,000 rpm, depending on the model. They have the ability to operate in temperatures ranging from -35 to 80 degrees C, and feature two self-lubricating, sealed ball bearings.

The standard colour for the Tensioning Roller Light Type RL is black.

The standard roller

For all other applications, Rosta offers the Tensioning Roller Standard Type R. Five versions of this roller are available, ranging in weight from .08 to 1.75 kg, for applications with speeds up to 8,000 rpm. These rollers, which come standard in blue, have the ability to operate in temperatures ranging from -35 to 100 degrees C. Like the RL model, Type R is made from high-quality industrial plastic material and features two self-lubricating ball bearings.
