New oil-free compressors deliver improved efficiencies

As a leading compressor manufacturer, CompAir strives for continuous innovation and development. Its latest innovation is a completely new range of high efficiency, oil-free two-stage screw compressors, which further enhances the company’s successful and award-winning D-Series.

10 new models

With the addition of 10 new models, the D-Series now covers a wider flow range — from 8.9 to 51.8 m³/min — and a power output from 160 to 315kW. Like the other models in the Series, the new additions utilise a CompAir designed and manufactured two-stage airend, and offer oil-free and silicone-free air in accordance with ISO 8573-1 Class 0.

Innovative design

The D-Series delivers improved efficiencies and produces 12 per cent more air compared to the previous range thanks to its innovative design concept. The units feature electric IE3 and IE4 motors and other components that meet and exceed stringent European standards and those from other jurisdictions. All connections within the compressors are on the same side, allowing for simple installation with no specific foundation requirements.

Designed and built for continuous use in demanding applications, the units can operate in applications with ambient temperatures up to 45 degree C. In addition, the D-Series features a patented water regulation system around the airend, and a specialist, hardened rotor coating to ensure long life. The compressors also deliver low power consumption, while maintaining the highest air outputs, ensuring reliability and performance efficiency.

The 10 new compressors also feature a state-of-the-art, future-proofed touchscreen controller known for its ease of use and clearly structured menu with intuitive visuals.

All D-Series compressors are covered by the Assure extended warranty program. This free warranty offers total peace of mind for up to 44,000 hours of service or six years, whichever comes first.
