The ¼ NPT FullStream liquid-atomizing spray nozzle

EXAIR Corporation not only manufactures an unsurpassed range of compressed-air industrial equipment – it also never ceases to find ways to improve and optimize these products. As technology evolves and businesses across North America need to stay competitive, the EXAIR crew modifies and enhances its offerings to meet a wider variety of needs. The company’s latest breakthrough is the ¼ NPT FullStream liquid nozzle – which is ideal for various applications.

A full cone spray pattern

A major advantage of this liquid-atomizing spray nozzle is the full cone spray pattern that it provides for pressurized liquids. The FullStream can be applied to solve cooling, cleaning, washing, rinsing, and dust-suppression tasks in many sectors. It has a tangential flow design that is vaneless, and this creates wide-open internal features that prevent clogging while producing a uniform distribution in a round pattern with droplets in sizes from medium to large. The nozzle also has a compact right-angle design and operates with a fluid pressure of up to 100 psig.

This liquid nozzle is commonly used with water, rinse aids, and detergents, but works especially well with liquids that contain particulate. It also functions with chemicals, pesticides, and herbicides. With the FullStream, the fluid is supplied into the body of the nozzle, which causes a swirling action inside a vortex chamber. The vortex creates the spray pattern when the machined nozzle breaks the liquid surface tension as it leaves the orifice and into a controlled spray angle.

What enhances the durability and corrosion resistance of the FullStream liquid nozzle – and other similar liquid-atomizing nozzles – is its stainless steel construction. The unit is also compliant with the European CE safety standard and is available in a variety of flow rates. Users can adjust flow rate by changing liquid pressure. It perfectly complements EXAIR’s impressive lineup 1/8, ¼, and ½ NPT air-atomizing and No Drip air-atomizing spray nozzles.

EXAIR offers its five-year Built To Last warranty with all of these models.
