The IR W7152 ½" 20-volt high-torque cordless impact wrench, available from Dobco

Ingersoll Rand (IR) has taken pneumatic impact-wrench technology and brought it to new heights. Its latest innovation, the IQV20 Series W7152 ½” 20-volt high-torque cordless impact wrench, offers more power, control, and access to users than any previous IR tool has. This new device is available in Canada from Dobco Equipment.

The W7152 high-torque cordless impact wrench delivers 1,500 foot-pounds of nut-busting torque and employs the IQV Intelligent Control System with four modes, allowing it to go from MAX Torque to Hand Tight in an instant.

The next generation of power

This ½” impact wrench from Dobco includes a 360-degree shadowless tasklight with four dimmable settings for better user control and visibility, as well as a durable IQV brushless motor system that outdoes both the performance and the lifespan of a standard brush motor. Another advantage is the tool’s extremely high power-to-weight ratio, measuring only 8.1 inches from tip to tail and weighing only 7.6 pounds, allowing any user to power through a job with less effort required.

Other notable features of the IQV20 Series W7152 ½” 20-volt high-torque cordless impact wrench include the following:

  • 1,000 foot-pounds of MAX torque;
  • All-metal drive train and hammer mechanism;
  • Impact- and chemical-resistant housing;
  • Patented steel reinforced frame;
  • Variable-speed switch with electronic brake;
  • Compatibility with the IQV20 Series battery system; and
  • Three-year warranty coverage on the tool and battery charger.

The IQV Power Control System can be set to MAX Power, Mid Power, Wrench Tight, and Hand Tight modes. This makes the wrench extremely versatile, as there is no need to switch to a different tool for other applications – be it axle nuts, oil pans, flange bolts, pre-torque joints, or just about anything else. Users can get the exact level of torque they need just by changing the dial on the back of the wrench.

For more than a century, IR has devoted its energies to improving its construction and assembly tools with the latest technology. The W7152 presents the next generation of power in handheld pneumatic equipment.
