An upgrade of the Hougen HMD917 series, the HMD920 drill comes with a three-speed gearbox (250, 450, or 700 revolutions per minute), a pilot light, and a two-stage magnet that provides a 30 per cent power increase when the user turns on the motor. Other key features: positive slug ejection; gravity-fed coolant bottle; feed handles that change quickly from side to side; lift-detector safety system; and rear-mounted controls.
