New Elesa handwheel designed for easy cleaning

VTT handwheel

This handwheel is an attractive and highly functional component designed for equipment that is frequently cleaned with water jets or steam, for example. Ideal applications include canning lines, bottling plants, dispensing, filling and packaging, and tableting machines.

The VTT handwheel has a stainless steel boss or stud, and the handle is made from glass fibre-reinforced technopolymer. The moulded handle has no cavities or recesses where food or pharmaceutical residues can collect. This ensures cleaning is exceptionally easy.

This handwheel also features a modern design with a high domed profile. The combination of this profile and its three-lobe shape results in a particularly ergonomic design. It provides excellent grip strength, allowing for high torque even when the operator is wearing gloves or when using smaller knobs.
