New app makes cordset configuration fast and easy

The Harting Cordset Configurator helps users save time and configure a connector solution quickly and easily — key advantages in today’s competitive industrial landscape. It supports the company’s goal to help customers find the solutions they need to be productive in a timely manner.

How it works

The app allows customers to configure an M8, M12 or ⅞-inch cordset using a series of selected specifications. Once the cordset is configured, the app will match the configuration to a Harting part number and link to drawings and more detailed technical specifications. However, if the configuration does not match a Harting part number, the app will simply offer the option to request a quote from Harting Customized Solutions.

“We want to make it easy for our customers to find the solutions they need,” said Jon DeSouza, president and CEO of Harting North America, “Our M8, M12 and ⅞-inch cordset product line has over 700 part numbers, and our customers are busy. The Harting app allows them to configure what they need quickly.”

How to get it

The app is available on Android and Apple devices. Simply go to iTunes or the Play Store to download and install the app for free.
