Narrow belt sorter saves on space

Key features

ProSort MRT has several key features that make it an attractive solution for sorting medium-sized items, particularly in facilities where space is a premium. For example, MRT has right-angle sortation. Rollers pop up between the narrow belts that are transporting items, and transfer the items at right angles to the sorter. This feature allows the sorter to have a smaller footprint, saving valuable plant floor space. 

Another key feature is the sorter’s flexibility. It offers dual-sided transfer, which allows product to be transferred off either side of the conveyor. This allows it to be easily configured to specific customer applications, meeting their exact needs. It also allows close transfer locations to work within a facility’s constraints, and flexible sort locations, which means users can change their operation as often as needed. 

The system allows high sort rates, maximizing throughput (an ideal feature for picking modules and order consolidation), and features the HyPower Distributed Cable System, which lowers field wiring expenses and simplifies changing locations.
