Several models of dust collectors are available.

For close to 80 years, businesses all over Canada and the United States have relied on N.R. Murphy Limited for air-quality solutions, especially dust collectors. A wide range of equipment is available in this area to meet any dust-collecting needs a company might have. N.R. Murphy offers an unsurpassed level of experience, knowledge, and skill – everything it takes to satisfy any requirement. Among the options available are Pulse Jet and shaker-style dust collectors, as well as cyclones, portable units, specialized equipment, and a few types of accessories for specific applications.

Fitting any application, environment, budget

This dust-collector portfolio includes an unmatched range of units with something to fit any application, work environment, and budget. For example, Pulse Jet dust collectors are recommended most for 24-7 manufacturing operations. These machines use compressed air to blow filters clean on a set timer to make sure the company never loses a minute of production. Variations available include the HE series, which offers a continuous-duty, automatic self-cleaning filtration system for companies with no production downtime to ensure top productivity, and the C series, which uses cartridge-style filters and is perfect for smoke, fumes, fine dust particles, and other low-dust load tasks.

Shaker-style dust collectors are most suitable for intermittent runtimes. Each has an automatic motor and timer, and it shakes filters clean after the unit is shut down to make sure filters are maintained for years. N.R. Murphy offers two series in this group: the FB series, with a cylindrical design, tube-style filters, and mechanical shaker-style cleaning to integrate a cyclonic component for greater dust-particle separation; and the MK series, which offers a square/rectangular design to maximize the airflow to filter-media ratio for efficient dust collection in a compact design for various sectors.

Cyclones can be used as standalone air-material separators or in conjunction with a dust collector; they can also be used as primary separators to offer classification or sizing of material. MRX portable units are compact, lightweight, and easy to move between machines; their eight-foot height makes them ideal for facilities with low headroom.
