Camille Bauer makes a diverse range of test and measurement instrumentation, available in Canada via Mod-Tronic Instruments Ltd. – including the SINEAX B 812 series of Loop power packs. Equipped with signal outputs and HART communications, these power supplies are designed for intelligent and conventional two-wire transmitters, in P12/17 housing for rail mounting. Each unit provides the DC power supply for these transmitters and transfers the measured variable unchanged to the electrically insulated output.

Intrinsically safe versions available

All versions of the SINEAX B 812 are built for FSK1 communication and used in conjunction with transmitters capable of dialogue and operation according to the FSK principle and the HART or user-specific protocol. Intrinsically safe models are available, with intrinsically safe inputs; these versions operate in conjunction with intrinsically safe two-wire transmitters in hazardous areas with explosion risks.

These Loop power packs are suitable for monitoring the measurement/supply to detect short and open circuits; the red LED on each unit signals these faults. Each fulfills all of the important requirements and regulations regarding electromagnetic compatibility in the EMV and Safety standard (EN 61010). Camille Bauer has developed and manufactured this product in strict accordance with the ISO 9001 quality standard, and it has been certified according to the 94/9/EG guideline.

Input for this unit is 4-20 mA, or 18 to 25½ VDC; output is 4-20 mA, or 17 VDC with no load.
