An NK voltage transmitter

NK Technologies is renowned internationally as a developer and manufacturer of innovative, cost-efficient current-sensing solutions, which are available in Canada through Mod-Tronic Instruments Ltd. These devices are always designed to add value to applications and to meet or exceed the performance expectations of all users in the industrial and factory-automation sectors.

The Mod-Tronic team carries five categories of NK products – including signal conditioners, which comprise a variety of transducers, transformers, and more.

A proportional controlled output

There are five types of NK signal conditioners available: voltage transmitters, power transducers, current transformers, analog input signal conditioners and isolators, and current sensors and transducers. Voltage transmitters measure AC voltage either directly or via a voltage transformer. The transducer converts the AC voltage signal to either a DC mA or DC voltage output that is directly proportional to the input signal value. Mod-Tronic offers five models of NK voltage transmitters, with varying voltage ranges and mounting.

Power transducers and transmitters are built to provide a controlled output that is proportional to the average RMS power, and they are targeted specifically to offer an efficient solution to most power-sensing requirements. Three series of NK power transducers are available – the APS, APT, and APT-TH series.

A current transformer is a kind of transformer that one uses to reduce or multiply an alternating current; it creates a current in its secondary, which is proportional to the current in its primary. Mod-Tronic carries five series of NK current transformers. Meanwhile, current sensors and transducers are devices that detect electric currents in wires and generate signals proportional to those currents. Four models of these devices are available.

Finally, analog input signal conditioners and isolators convert one kind of electronic signal into another type of signal. Their primary use is to convert signals that may be hard to read by conventional instruments into a format that is more easily readable. Mod-Tronic carries both AC- and DC-input versions.

With a selection of more than 1,300 instruments, NK Technologies is a top manufacturer of current-measuring devices, and Mod-Tronic is the perfect supplier for them.
