With a breadth of protective solutions unmatched by any other industrial manufacturer across the continent, MOCAP has a portfolio that runs from plugs and caps to miscellaneous items like collar guards and corner covers. The lineup also includes masking protection, and a popular choice in this group is silicone rubber tubing.
The SRT series of this tubing is available in 21 standard sizes and stocked in 50- and 100-foot lengths for immediate shipment upon order.
Various sizes, diameters, and profiles
MOCAP’s silicone rubber tubing is a highly durable and reusable product, designed for masking rounded items, like studs, pins, and other that need a length longer that standard silicone caps can offer. Due to its heat stabilization, the SRT series is also strong enough to withstand temperatures as high as 260 degrees Celsius – even when it is reused for new tasks.
The team has a unique process of manufacturing the SRT series for peak performance: the tubing is extruded from a specially formulated silicone with a hardness rating of 60 Shore A. This silicone rubber tubing is a non-staining product that is available in varying diameters, sizes, and profiles to suit different work applications. The SRT tubing lineup ranges from 2.6 to 24.8 millimetres (mm) in their inner diameters, and their wall thicknesses go from one to 1½ mm. Custom sizes are also possible.
But the SRT series of silicone rubber tubing is not the only effective masking solution that MOCAP produces and supplies. There are other options available, such as paper, EPDM, and silicone caps and plugs. The company also carries high-temperature vinyl caps and plugs, high-temperature poly tapes and discs, and silicone X-treme tape.
