MOCAP’s industrial high temperature masking tape works for powder coating

Cut to any specific width

The company offers two lines of industrial high temperature masking tape – the MCT620 line of polyester tape and the MCT800 line of polyimide tape. These products are both recommended for extremely hot powder-coating applications.

The MCT620 model can resist temperatures as high as 218 degrees Celsius for an hour. The MOCAP team stocks this tape on wide rolls and can cut it to any specific width that a customer desires. There are 12 sizes available, with widths going from 6.4 to 152.4 millimetres (mm) and a consistent roll length of 65.8 metres (m). MCT620 polyester tape is always stocked for immediate shipment upon order, and it typically arrives within one or two business days. Polyester discs, which are stocked in sizes from 3/16 of an inch to 1¾ inches in diameter, are also available.

The MOCAP MCT800 series is more appropriate for applications involving higher temperatures. This industrial high temperature masking tape is made from polyimide and can withstand temperatures of up to 260 degrees Celsius over 60 minutes, in addition to shorter exposures to temperatures higher than 370 degrees Celsius.

MOCAP recommends the MCT800 line for high-temperature powder-coating tasks and other scenarios with extreme heat. The company stocks this tape on wide rolls and is willing to cut it to custom widths for shipment in no more than two business days. This polyimide masking tape is available in 14 sizes, with widths ranging from 4.8 to 152.4 mm in a common roll length of 32.9 m. MOCAP also offers polyimide masking discs, in the same diameters as the polyester discs.
