MOCAP’s ClearTec sales division offers many options for clear tubing

Ten different designs available

ClearTec containers and tubes are available in ten designs:

• Hanging tubes – containers with novel, built-in hangers that allow retainers to hang items on peg hooks. MOCAP can produce them according to specified lengths, with round or sombrero punches.
• Heavy-wall round tubes – durable, strong, reusable tubes designed to protect heavy or fragile items, including welding rods, bearing, cutting tools, machined components, and medical devices.
• Mailing tubes – a creative, high-impact way to mail product samples, literature, or promotional messages.
• Rectangular tubes – relatively new tubes that give users an aesthetically appealing look on retail shelves as they maintain high product protection, particularly for tasks in which square tubing is not adequate.
• Sealed-bottom rectangular containers – transparent plastic tubes recommended for retail and industrial packaging applications that require a unique appearance or tubes that do not roll.
• Sealed-bottom round containers – an ideal choice for many kinds of point-of-purchase and consumer packaging tasks. Examples of these including gift packs, toys, bath salts, sporting goods, and craft and hobby products.
• Sealed-bottom square containers – like the sealed-bottom rectangular tubes, but with a square design. Permanent sealing of one end reduces labour assembly expenses and other costs.
• Square tubes – another relatively new line, consisting of tubes for many retail and industrial packaging applications. ClearTec supplies an option with a sealed clear bottom.
• Thin-wall round tubes – recommended for lightweight or non-fragile products that require unique yet inexpensive packaging, like posters, confectionery, housewares, novelties, and toys.
• Ultra-thin-wall round tubes – cost-efficient tubing for high-volume tasks needing minimal protection.

Also available are ten types of packaging closures, all designed specifically to fit ClearTec tubes. Examples include different styles of caps and plugs, as well as plastic tube toppers.
