Measuring up to international expectations

To make sure that clients are getting the quality that they deserve in their products, MOCAP adheres to the strict expectations of the International Organization for Standardization, or ISO. The manufacturer has been certified according to the ISO 9001:2008 standard, by two separate organizations. Intertek has assessed MOCAP’s quality-management system and deemed that the company meets this ISO standard for manufacturing and/or processing dip-molded, injection-molded, compression-molded, extruded, and die-cut products for multiple applications. In addition, SGS has certified MOCAP to ISO 9001:2008 for manufacturing plastic caps and plugs.

Part of the ISO 9000 series on quality management, ISO 9001 standards are based on a number of quality principles and values. These include strong client focus, the motivation and implication of top management, a process approach, and ongoing improvement. MOCAP exemplifies all of these traits, which help it to provide the best products and services.

MOCAP also manufactures all of its products in full compliance with the Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive, or the RoHS Directive, a strict European standard on material safety. The company invites clients to request RoHS certification for any specific materials or parts.

In effect since July 2006, the RoHS Directive restricts the use of six hazardous materials in the production of many goods, especially electrical and electronic equipment, with some exceptions. Adherence to this standard ensures that MOCAP products are always environmentally friendly and safe.
