MOCAP plugs can satisfy many protection, finishing, and masking needs

Another popular offering in this lineup is three types of protective plugs, suitable for many user requirements. These series of dip-moulded vinyl plastic plugs, injection-moulded plastic plugs, and rubber-moulded plugs can satisfy a broad variety of protection, finishing, and masking needs.

For assembly, conversion, shipping

The wide lineup includes injection-moulded plugs, low-density polyethylene (LDPE) plug caps, sheet-metal plugs, tube-end plugs, vinyl dip-moulded shipping plugs, high-temperature masking plugs, and EPDM and silicone rubber masking plugs. All of them are perfect for product protection during assembly, conversion, or shipping tasks. They are recommended for masking against debris, painting, spraying, or powder coating. MOCAP plugs also help to add a finished quality appearance to sheet-metal or tubing components.

The three basic categories of protective plugs that are available from MOCAP:

• Friction fit plugs. These are designed to protect threads and fittings from moisture, contamination, and damage during production, shipping, or storage applications. Among the examples are general-purpose plugs, sheet-metal hold plugs, tube plugs, tapered plugs for tubing, barrel plugs, and flexible vinyl plugs.
• Tapered plugs. This category includes tapered plug caps, wide-flange plug caps (including thick and extra-thick), centre pull plugs, paper tapered plugs, EPDM tapered plugs, and silicone tapered plugs.
• Threaded plugs. MOCAP carries 16 models of red plugs, all made in a wide variety of material and styles. Designed to fit a broad range of metric and standard threads, as well as various kinds of threaded ports, fittings, and assemblies. Examples include general-purpose, sealing, hex-socket, square-head, universal, and push-in plugs.

Hundreds of sizes, shapes, and designed of polyethylene injection-moulded plugs are available from MOCAP, all of them stocked and ready to ship. Vinyl dip-moulded plastic plugs are available in standard flexible PVC material for shipping and protection, with high-temperature models for masking. EPDM and silicone rubber plugs suit paint, powder-coating, and spray-masking tasks, including tapered plugs, washer plugs, and pull plugs.
