ClearTec tubes and containers

Customers across the continent rely on MOCAP for an unmatched selection of caps, plugs and grips, but the manufacturer also has a sales division for transparent plastic tubes and containers – ClearTec Packaging. These tubes are reliable, cost-effective packaging items for myriad applications, plus a great way to increase product sales.

ClearTec produces a broad variety of extruded, semi-rigid, clear tubes from standard or custom components, to meet any design or budget requirements.

The 10 designs of ClearTec tubes and containers:

• Hanging tubes. Containers with novel, built-in hangers that let retainers hang items on peg hooks. Can be made according to specified lengths, with round or sombrero punches.
• Heavy-wall round tubes. Durable, strong, reusable models that protect heavy or fragile items, like welding rods, bearing, cutting tools, machined components, and medical devices.
• Mailing tubes. A creative, high-impact means of mailing product samples or literature.
• Rectangular tubes. These tubes add an aesthetically appealing look on retail shelves, while maintaining high product protection, especially for applications not compatible with square tubing.
• Sealed-bottom rectangular containers. Transparent plastic tubes for retail and industrial packaging tasks needing a unique appearance or tubes that do not roll.
• Sealed-bottom round containers. Perfect for many types of point-of-purchase and consumer packaging applications. Examples include gift packs, toys, bath salts, sporting goods, and craft and hobby products.
• Sealed-bottom square containers. Similar to the sealed-bottom rectangular tubes, but with a square shape. Permanent sealing of one end reduces labour assembly costs and other expenses.
• Square tubes. Tubes for many retail and industrial packaging tasks. An option with a sealed clear bottom is available.
• Thin-wall round tubes. Recommended for lightweight or non-fragile items that need unique yet inexpensive packing, such as posters, confectionery, housewares, toys, and novelties.
• Ultra-thin-wall round tubes. Cost-effective tubes designed for high-volume applications that require minimal protection.

Ten kinds of packaging closures, all designed specially to fit ClearTec tubes, are also available from MOCAP. Among the examples are different styles of plugs and caps, as well as plastic tube toppers.
