A special dip moulding process

MOCAP employs a vinyl dip moulding process to make flexible PVC grips, while letting the customer specify the desired length, wall thickness, colour, surface texture, and material hardness, with no extra tooling charges.

Material options for these grips include standard smooth and glossy vinyl or textured vinyl. These materials are flexible yet durable, able to stretch onto slightly larger dimensions for tight fits with no splitting, tearing, or shredding; they are also tough, aesthetically pleasing, and weather-resistant. Company names, logos, or messages can easily be imprinted on these grips.

Used on a broad range of hand tools and instruments, the DDG series of double-dip vinyl grips offer optimal comfort and durability. They also feature dual walls for added protection and unique colour/material combinations available upon request. MOCAP round vinyl grips are available in a traditional round straight-wall style. The standard colour for round grips is black, but other colours are also possible. Round vinyl grips range from 4.7 to 117.5 millimetres (mm) in inside diameter, 39.7 to 395.3 mm in minimum inside length, 44.5 to 571.5 mm in maximum inside length, and 1.4 to 1.7 mm in wall thickness.

Flat vinyl plastic grips are durable and offer secure fits; they are very useful as inexpensive covers to protect products during assembly or shipping and as single-use masking products for painting and coating processes. Lengths can run from 1½ to eight inches for some sizes. Black finger-nub vinyl grips have an ergonomic design for secure, comfortable holds on items with handles or levers; they can easily fit diameters from 5/8 to one inch.
