MOCAP makes numerous caps and plugs for pipe and flange protection

Five categories of pipe and flange protectors are available from MOCAP.

With its unmatched portfolio of plugs, caps, and other plastic and rubber protective items, MOCAP offers solutions for myriad applications, including pipe and flange protection. These units prevent product damage and contamination during transit, handling, and storage. They are available in a wide variety of sizes, styles, and colours.

With protectors for various sizes of pipes, tubing, and flanges, MOCAP allows customers to find the right item for any specific need.

Available for urgent use

The MOCAP team designs and manufactures these products for pipe and flange protection for simple installation and removal. Many of them are in stock and available for immediate shipment, for clients who need solutions available for urgent use. MOCAP’s lineup of pipe and flange protection items include the following products:

• Bolt hole flange protectors – The MBH series consists of the most popular flange-protection items in the industry, all moulded in black and blue LDPE plastic. They are constructed to fit ½– to 12-inch nominal-sized pipe flanges.
• Outside-fitting flange protectors – The MOF series has outer protectors moulded in yellow LPDE plastic, which fit the complete face and sides of various flange sizes, ranging from ½- to ten-inch nominal-sized pipe flanges.
• Pipe caps – Customers get high flexibility from the PC series of pipe caps. These are moulded in black polyethylene plastic and sized to fit many different sizes and styles of threaded pipe ends, from ¼- to 16-NPT, 1/8- to 16-BSP, or eight- to 406-4-millimetre threads. MOCAP has designed them to secure metric, BSP, or NPT threads.
• Pipe plugs – The PP series can fit threaded pipe ends that go from ½- to six-NPT, ½- to six-BSP, or 21.3- to 177.8-millimetre threads. These plugs are made of low-density polyethylene and designed to protect threads from contamination or damage.
• Push-in flange protectors – Moulded in yellow polyethylene plastic, the MPI series suits both imperial (ANSI) and metric (DIN) flanges according to the DIN2627-2638, 150, BS 5504, and ANSIB16,5 standards. Designed to fit flange sizes ranging from ½ an inch to one foot.
