Masking tapes and discs are both available.

Reputed across the continent for its caps, plugs, and grips, MOCAP has a lineup of industrial protective products that stretches further than that. Various types of masking items are also available, including many sizes of high-temperature masking discs and tapes, which are made from either polyimide or polyester. These tapes and discs resist extremely high temperatures for up to an hour, due to the silicone-based adhesives that leave no residue after removal.

Available in 25 different sizes

These high-temperature masking discs are sometimes known as dots, and they are perfect for powder coating and similar tasks. The MCD-PE series of polyester discs can withstand constant temperatures as high as 218 degrees Celsius, while the MCD-PI series of polyimide discs can handle temperatures of up to 260 degrees Celsius. The latter line also protects against short exposure to temperatures higher than 371 degrees Celsius. Every disc measuring 3/8 of an inch or more has a unique split backing, which decreases labour time. Polyimide performs equally as effectively as the popular Kapton brand does.

MOCAP polyester discs come in 25 different sizes and quantities from 100 to 5,000 per roll, with diameters from 3.2 to 152.4 millimetres (mm). Polyimide discs come in 16 sizes and quantities from 1,000 to 5,000 per roll. Diameters go from 4.8 to 44½ mm. More high-temperature masking discs per roll can be offered to reduce inventory, piece price, and time for changing rolls.

Polyester and polyimide tapes are available for masking larger areas on which dots will not do. The MCT620 line of high-temperature polyester tapes resists temperatures as high as 218 degrees Celsius for an hour and are stocked on wide rolls. MOCAP can cut these to requested specific widths. The MCT800 series of polyimide tapes is recommended for temperatures as high as 260 degrees Celsius. These tapes can also resist short exposures of higher than 371 degrees Celsius.

Twelve sizes of the MCT620 series of polyester tapes are available. Diameters run from 6.4 to 152.4 mm. MOCAP offers the MCT800 line in 14 sizes, from 4.8 to 152.4 mm.
