MOCAP friction fit plugs protect threads from moisture and contamination

One of the company’s popular options is a line of friction fit plugs. They protect threads and fittings from moisture, contamination, and other damage during production, shipping, and storage.

These plugs are available in a wide variety of designs, colours, and sizes – allowing them to meet different industrial needs.

Seven different designs available

Friction fit plugs come in seven distinct designs:

• Barrel plugs with flange. General-purpose plugs with high flexibility, which allows them to fit a broad array of threaded and non-threaded tubing sizes and styles. Their convex bodies hold them in place, and they are easy to apply and remove.
• Flexible vinyl insertion plugs. MOCAP constructs these versatile units to fit pipes, holes, and masking. They also make convenient, inexpensive substitutes for rubber plugs. Good for protecting valves, pumps, cylinders, or tubing in assembly, shipping, and masking.
• General-purpose plugs for Type L and M tubing. Friction fit plugs that are built for tasks in which the plug’s outer diameter must be shorter than that of the tubing. They are typically recommended for pressure and water-supply applications.
• Sheet metal hole plugs. Polyethylene plugs that have three different designs – flush plugs for standard holes, flush plugs for metric holes, and recessed plugs for standard holes. Suitable for capping plug holes on appliances, cars, tanks, or cabinets.
• Tapered plugs for Type K tubing. For plugging and protecting copper tubing, with a reinforced cross bracing for a secure fit and a slight pull tab that simplifies removal. Available in 13 sizes.
• Tapered plugs for Type L and M tubing. Like the previous option, for different tubing sizes. Eleven sizes available.
• Tube plugs. Plastic plugs that have multiple horizontal ribs, which enable easy installation and secure fitting on multiple tube gauges with built-in flexibility. Designed to fit both standard and metric sizes of round, square, and rectangular tubes. A popular choice for furniture, tubular racks, appliances, and exercise equipment.
