Minimizing the effects of hysteresis

The latter series of motor-driven proportional valves is driven by a motor step-pass single-pole type. This form of technology enables minimization of the effects of hysteresis and increase in the response-time stability over time in comparison to traditional solenoid solutions. These proportional stepper valves do not require a minimal operational pressure, and users can mount them in any position. Technical specifications of the 21JN1SA12-P3-M001 line of proportional stepper valves:

• Maximum allowable pressure: 16 bar.
• Ambient temperature: -15 to 60 degrees Celsius.
• Proportional response features: hysteresis and repeatability both less than one per cent; sensitivity less than 2½ per cent.
• Motor characteristics: 24-volt DC impulse power supply at a frequency of 100 hertz; the operator can use a higher frequency, but the maximum operation pressure is not guaranteed. ED of 30 per cent, maintaining its position even with no power.
• Motor power: four watts.

Sized from 1/8 to ¼ of an inch, the Vesta MR Series INOX-OX microregulator valve is perfectly suited for ventilators and use with medical oxygen, the latter application when combined with 1/8-inch NPT and ¼-inch NPT connections. This is a high-performance regulator designed for pressure regulation of neutral gases, usable with ¼-inch NPT connections and six-millimetre tube connections.

ODE motorized proportional valves work directly with host controllers in pulmonary ventilators. With an intelligent driver, the valve can move automatically, reading physical quantities like temperature, pressure, or flow rate with a sensor.
