The S-AT series of spring-loaded lid stays

The main objective for machinery is consistent manufacturing or production. Sugatsune offers mechanical hardware that serves as practical solutions for safe and effective operation of machinery, including handles that assist in zoning areas, heavy duty leveling glides, specialty wire management grommets, and lid stays with anti-corrosive properties.

The SJH and CJH series of handles provide a visual reminder in the form of six available colour options, to differentiate work processes or to warn of dangerous areas. These handles with reinforced nylon body and polyamide caps have a two-type installation with a reversible insert to fix the screw for front or back mounting. The SJH handle design is angled with colour options at both ends whereas the CJH handle design is a cylindrical pull with colour options at centre. The MJH series of handles has yellow, grey, and black cover cap options at both ends with curved design. They may also be installed front- or back-mounted.

The MN series of leveling glides has an eight-degree swivel function to compensate for uneven floors. To prevent scratching on floors, its white base is made of polypropylene. Accompanying the leveling glide is the KD-555 series of glide bases or nuts, which assists in adjusting the height position of the machinery and equipment. With NSF certification, these leveling glides may be used for machinery and equipment in food production facilities.

The WSM-150 cable grommet has a wire manager with unique gasket and synthetic material combination to prevent oil-mist intrusion. It is IP54F-rated, limiting the ingress of dust and fluid (oil and water) sprays. The gasket may be adjusted in two steps to achieve tightening force needed to secure the cables, without the need for tools. The cable grommet gasket can accommodate several cables, with cable diameter of up to 30 mm (1-3/16″). The WSM-150 is suitable for installation in the control board of processing machines. For best performance, it is recommended to install at the base of the enclosure. Optional wire management bracket, for grounding, WSM-10 is available.

The WSD series of cable grommets has a wire manager designed for dust protection. Its nitrile rubber gasket and pile enforce a tight seal for cable management and can accommodate multiple cables with cable diameter of up to 20 mm (13/16″). The gasket may be adjusted in two steps to achieve tightening force needed to secure the cables, without the need for tools. The WSD is suitable for installation in the switch boards of processing machines. Post-installation, the grommet body can be divided in two parts to loosen or move cables without the need for removal or insertion. Optional wire management bracket, for grounding, WSM-10 or WSD-B may also be used.

The S-AT spring-loaded lid stay series made of 430 stainless steel, steel, and polyacetal is compact with high torque rating capacity. Given its flexibility for side or back mounting and small body, which maximizes space inside of the cabinet for top opening applications, it is an ideal alternative to gas springs. These lid stays may be installed individually or in multiples and have been designed to be combined with piano or butt hinges. Their unique lift assist and free stop functions, as part of Sugatsune’s Motion Design Tech, allow for easy and safe operation of lids. Model S-AT02W consists of two S-ATs mounted together for double the power.
