It also has a tool changer that can work with tools of all kinds, with a maximum tool weight of 5.4 kilograms and maximum tool length of 30.5 centimetres from the gauge line. Synchronized tapping eliminates lead-thread distortion and start-thread pullout that often occurs with the traditional method of tapping holes.
