The machining department consists of ample, efficient, automated CNC machining equipment, such as an automatic bundle saw, a robotic bending cell, and CNC bending presses with optic sensors. The pallet change time is a mere eight seconds, while the 21+1 side-mount tool changer has an average tool-to-tool time of 2.1 seconds. Also accessible is a tool changer that works with various types of tools, with a maximum tool weight of 5.4 kilograms and maximum tool length of 30½ centimetres from the gauge line. The standard process for tapping holes frequently leads to lead-thread distortion and start-thread pullout, but Matritech’s synchronized tapping eliminates these problems.
