industrial machining services

Matritech has never stopped acquiring world-class equipment.

In its 29-year history of providing top industrial machining services and manufacturing custom metal components, Matritech Inc. has never been a company to rest on its laurels. This respected corporation knows that technology and industry needs are always changing and evolving, so it always pushes itself to stay ahead of the game.

Matritech has grown and succeeded because of its willingness to invest continuously in expanding its industrial machining services and other capabilities. This is how the company has remained relevant and beneficial to clients across Canada.

Millions in fixed assets

Since the company was established in 1989, Matritech has invested more than $15 million in fixed assets. This includes a versatile range of state-of-the-art machinery, enabling the company to provide a wide spectrum of services – like laser cutting, robotic welding, CNC machining, tools and dies, stamping and pressing, and bending.

Matritech has access to quick, efficient equipment for CNC machining at its Drummondville, Que. facility. In 2015, the company acquired a horizontal machining centre with two pallet changers; this has allowed Matritech to offer high-speed part production. The company’s facility also holds a Mazak Vertical Travelling Column 300C, a vertical machining centre with a powerful 40 Taper spindle, a full travelling column, and a long fixed table for long and heavy workpieces; this machine, purchased in 2014, reduces non-cut time with its fast traverse rates.

Other valuable investments that Matritech has made: two CNC bending presses with bending angle optic sensors; three welding robots; and laser equipment.

The company has also used its investment to expand its facility over the years. In 1989, the plant covered only 3,200 square feet. But since the last expansion in 2011, the facility has measured a whopping 85,000 square feet. This large space enables Matritech to house all the resources it needs for machining, design, and assembly. Acting as a one-stop shop for all industrial machining services simplifies everything for customers, and also for buying, receiving, and transportation.

And all of this investment continues to pay off. Matritech’s facility remains the most versatile and complete in the business.
