Matritech offers the following machining provisions:

• Assembly – This department carries out demanding and complex assemblies with parts from other departments (bolting, bonding, riveting, labelling, and packing.
• Robotic and manual welding – The welding department can work on assemblies 36 inches in diameter by 144 inches long (steel, stainless steel, and aluminum).
• Stamping – Flat metal can be transformed with dies and forming objects that cannot be un-bended from sheet metal. Mechanical presses can handle high capabilities of up to 500 tons.
• Laser cutting and CNC punching – The cutting department collaborates with three digitally controlled machines, for laser cutting, laser and punching, and CNC punching respectively.
• Robotic and CNC bending – Matritech’s robotic bending cell was the first machine of its kind in Canada in terms of performance.
• CNC machining – Matritech’s quick, efficient machining high-speed centre handles part production by collaborating with the tooling team.
• Tooling – This department designs and fabricates tooling (progressive and manual transfer dies) – with solutions for oversized parts, complex geometric shapes, and fine details.
• Extrusion – Aluminum profiles can be transformed by machining, as well as stamping, with specific tooling for higher volume.
• Coating – With access to many surface-coating options through working relationships with various suppliers, Matritech provides finishing options from paint to passivation.
