Manufacturer invests in machinery to meet customer needs

Collison-Goll Limited has been in the turned parts industry for more than 65 years. The Toronto-based custom manufacturer has extensive experience making screw machine and CNC products, including various fasteners, hydraulic fittings and valves, studs, pins and nuts for a variety of industries, including automotive, fluid power, plumbing and electronics.  

The well-maintained precision equipment the company uses is essential to the production of intricate parts. Its screw machines and CNCs make it possible to produce custom parts quickly, and handle both large and small quantities with ease. The company’s screw machines include a six-spindle Euroturn 6/32 and Model 52 New Britains with 1.25-inch capacity; Model 62 New Britain machines with 2.25-inch capacities; and Davenport five-spindle screw machines with 7/8 capacities. Its CNCs include Swiss CNC lathes, twin turret lathes, drilling and tapping machines, and machining centers. The CNC lathes can machine up to three-inch round material and 10-inch slugs.

The addition of our Swiss CNC machines has allowed us to produce more complex products and parts of extended length,” the company says. “We can quickly and efficiently produce components with tight tolerances. We have a continuous improvement program that ensures our products meet our customer's highest standards. We use a networked, computerized statistical process control system, which has moved us closer to our goal of zero defects.” 

The company’s stringent quality assurance has earned it ISO TS16949:2002 certification.
