Safety first

L. & M. is up-to-date with WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System), Canada's requirements for workplace chemicals, and is working on upgrading to the new Global Harmonized System (GHS) version of WHMIS. The Toronto-based company is also current with the latest WSIB (Workplace Safety and Insurance Board) requirements.

Environmental practices

To ensure it’s not contributing to harmful environmental practices, L. & M. remains current and compliant with annual environmental reporting to the National Pollutant Release Inventory (NPRI), Canada's legislated, publicly accessible inventory, as well as Toronto’s CHEMTrac environmental reporting. L. & M. also complies with the Toxic Reduction Act (TRA), with an approved toxic reduction plan, and it maintains its licence every year with the Ministry of Environment’s Hazardous Waste Information Network (HWIN).
